Housing 2019, the Chartered Institute of Housing’s annual event and Europe’s largest housing festival, is returning to Manchester in June! With 400 speakers, 400 key exhibitors, 10 streams of innovative content and a footfall of over 12,000 decision makers across three days, 25th June to 27th June at Manchester Central - Housing 2019 is the leading event for the housing industry to meet industry professionals, gain industry insight and conduct business deals. Membership

CHIC is actively seeking new members to join the consortium. With over 70 members currently, we aim to keep growing to bring the maximum amount of cost savings and efficiencies. CHIC members collectively manage c. 700,000 homes across the Midlands, South and South Wales. Membership is open to housing associations and local authorities, for any variety of CHIC’s services.

 

CHIC Conference 2019

Our 9th annual CHIC Conference was a great success this year. We received a fantastic turn out of over 300 delegates and 38 exhibitors. CHIC showcased a range of interactive workshops covering sector related issues such as complying with fire safety regulations, the potential knock on effects of the social housing green paper and what is to come for social housing post brexit. We also tried something knew and hosted legal surgery sessions for delegates who received expert advice on housing management, procurement law and property and development which we will be continuing next year. Thank you for all of the valuable feedback from attendees which will be used to make our 10th annual conference even better.
